Breakfast With Santa Twycross Zoo Review

So when we booked this I tried to search for a breakfast with Santa Twycross Zoo review and there was maybe one on Tripadvisor a few years ago. Because of this, I decided I would write about it once we had experienced the day. Here is our experience, my breakfast with Santa Twycross Zoo review. (Contains spoilers so don’t read on if you want a surprise!)

Arrival at the zoo

Breakfast with Santa, windw on the wild room

We arrived at around 8:10 am and made our way to the windows on the wild area. You’ll find it located before the zoo entrance on the way from the car park. Our host took us straight to our table. We sat down and found an envelope addressed to our family which contained our wristbands for the zoo, a key for the zoo tree and a lovely letter explaining everything to do with our visit. Also on the table were some crayons, crackers, a sheet for colouring and a paper to write a letter to Santa. The staff ordered our breakfast as soon as we arrived.

Breakfast

We waited at our table and my daughter enjoyed hearing about the special Christmas key and colouring in the Santa page. I found self-service coffee, juice and water so we helped ourselves to those. The staff were attentive and our breakfast was great. You had your own condiments on the table too. The only problem was there didn’t seem enough room on a little round table for two for everything and we had to move things off the table for everything to fit.

Santa’s Elves visited some of the tables and then we heard the jingling sound of bells. Santa arrived at the front door. The children were then encouraged to sit on cushions by the tree in front of Santa’s chair. Them Santa told some stories and encouraged everyone to play music games. There was a version of Christmas musical statues and a little quiz. It was hard for the little ones to join in but they didn’t care, as they were happy dancing to the Christmas music. All the kids seemed to love joining in and there weren’t too many people either, which was something I was concerned about.

Meeting Santa

After the fun and dancing, we sat down at our tables and waited to be called for a family one to one with the big guy. I topped up my coffee and sorted our belongings whilst our girl continued her colouring. Then the Elves called us to come and see Santa. We handed in the letter and Santa had a conversation about Christmas. Photos were taken and our girl was handed her gift. She was very pleased! A special touch, the gift was wrapped and addressed with her name. A lovely personal addition.

After the festivities

Once we had finished we walked through the internal doors and made our way to the zoo entrance. I waited in the entrance queue.. However, you can walk straight in with your wristbands! We enjoyed an amazing day of activities and seeing the animals. Catching Santa at various points throughout our visit. The day was relaxed and we enjoyed everything we wanted to see. Ending in the Elf show dancing and singing songs in the main Plaza.

Would I recommend breakfast with Santa Twycross Zoo?

Absolutely. We had such an amazing time. The attention from the elves, staff and Santa was great, we didn’t feel rushed and enjoyed the experience. It was great to go into the zoo at the opening time too when there were fewer people about.
