We stayed at Hotel Cheyenne Disneyland Paris, France in June 2019 and chose it for the amazing Toy Story theme. Our daughter loves Toy Story at the moment so I thought it was a good choice and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Here is my experience with the hotel from Summer 2019.
What we thought of Hotel Cheyenne Disneyland Paris
I booked this hotel for a couple of reasons. The first was because I loved the theme and knew our daughter would enjoy it. Secondly, the fact the hotel was in walking distance and was a Disney hotel that meant we could enjoy early magic hours too.
The hotel complex was like something out of the wild west. With themed buildings and spotless decor, it was like being on a film set. We even enjoyed the Saloon one evening after a long day in the park!
It took 15 minutes for us to walk to the park entrance through Disney Village and it was a nice pleasant walk. Down the canal, looking at the massive fish along the way. This was much easier and quicker than getting the bus in my opinion. We did this once and it was more hassle than it was worth and didn’t save any time for us.
Breakfast in the hotel was busy but good. Plenty of seating, lots of food, both hot and cold and easy self-service. The staff were really friendly and as our girl was wearing a birthday badge she had some special attention from everyone here. We only ate in the hotel one morning, as our second morning we had the character breakfast at Plaza Gardens.
Our Woodys roundup room
I was so pleased with the theme in our room. As an avid Jessie fan, to have the pictures and decoration in the room was an absolute dream for our daughter. She spent ages looking at around and it made the trip so much more memorable.
Practically speaking the hotel was a 3-star rating. But for that, we got quite a lot for our money. The beds were comfortable, we had plenty of room for our luggage and hanging space for our clothes. There were plenty of towels for the three of us and a nice little touch was the Disney toiletries in the bathroom. One thing I missed was the tea and coffee in the room. But it wasn’t about me, and we passed a Starbucks in Disney village so I wasn’t hard done by!
To be honest we didn’t spend very much time in the room. Our second day in the park we were out for a long time. But the great thing was we managed to go back for a short while and rest after dinner before returning for the 11 pm fireworks. Another great reason for staying in a hotel so close to the park.
Would I recommend the hotel?
Absolutely. I chose this specifically for the Toy Story theme, so if your kids (or you) love toy story then its a great choice. The close proximity to the park and the early access is a great plus too. Are you visiting Disneyland with your toddler? Take a look at the rides we enjoyed with our almost three- year old here.
