Sawasdee Village hotel Phuket Thailand
A little oasis in Kata Beach.
I stayed at Sawasdee Village hotel for 4 nights at the end of our trip to Thailand. As expected the spa resort hotel was peaceful and relaxing.
Located on a busy street, however as you enter the winding secluded path to the reception area you leave the bustle behind. On check in we were given a welcome drink and allocated our room.
The room was a good size, the large bed had mosquito nets. Bathrobes and slippers were complimentary for our stay. Tea and coffee facilities were provided, hairdryer and mosquito repellent which came in really handy! The apple computer in the room was the best facility, I could update my social media and blog properly!
Breakfast was good and catered for a variety of tastes. I liked the egg station where the chef would cook eggs and omelettes to your liking. The staffs were very helpful and friendly seating us and providing hot drinks.
The pool area was a nice place to swim and relax. The pool bar also served drinks and snacks throughout the day. Luckily it wasn’t very busy when we stayed, however if a lot of people wanted to use the pool I could imagine it getting crowded.
I used the spa facilities which were very lovely. It was a lot more expensive than the surrounding area. However it was much more private, directed towards honeymoon couples.
There was also an hourly shuttle bus to and from the beach. This was provided by the hotel for guests which was pretty handy.
I recommend if you are planning to spend time relaxing in your hotel. You pay more here in Phuket than the rest of Thailand. For a luxury staff but not for a budget.
